Application time

Artistic basic educations
Submission of work samples and form May 4-5, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. To be submitted at the schools premises at Första Långgatan 10. Can also be submitted by mail. Post stamped latest 29 april 2009. The results will be notified Friday, May 8 on the website as well as on the school door. The accepted students will also be notified by mail. Collection: May 11-12, 2009, 9 a.m.–7 p.m. Sculptures shall be collected and will not be sent back by mail.

Artistic Concept Development

Work samples

Artistic basic educations
Applications shall be made on a determined form that can be downloaded from the website or picked up at the office.

Four cardboard arks with drawings max. 70 cm. x 100 cm. as well as four works that connect to the education you are applying to. You can apply to graphics and sculpture with only drawings. Mount the work samples stable.

NOTE: only originals, with the exception of sculpture and ? (can be applied to with photo).

Sculptures shall be picked up and will not be sent by mail. CD or DVD readable on MAC. Video work max. 5 min., label disc with title, name and length. Attach birth certificate. No applications via e-mail. All basic educations can be applied to as first hand or second hand choices. You do not need special work samples for your second hand choice. There will be only one handling fee, even if you apply to multiple educations. The application material will be evaluated by a named established teacher at the school. Written notice will be sent to all applicants when the result of the admission is ready. The school is not responsible for submitted works.

Artistic Concept Development
The application is done with a project description on a special application form, together with 10 photos in A4 that are relevant for your project and that show how you have worked before. If you apply with a video these works shall be handed over on a CD/DVD readable on MAC, max. 5 min. Label the disc with name, title and length. The application material will be evaluated by a named established teacher at the school. A certain number of applicants will be called for an interview. Written notices will be sent out to all applicants when the result of the admission is ready.

 

Admission requirements

Artistic talent shall be proven with work samples. The choice of students is done with great care and extensive work. The quality and variation concerning artistic direction are guiding. High school degree or corresponding.

 

Fees

Handling fee
A handling fee of SEK 300 shall be paid at the time of the application (regardless of how many departments you apply to). The fee will be paid in cash when the work samples are delivered or to bankgiro 5859-0092 for applicants that send in work samples by mail. Note! Write name and national identification number! Application without paid handling fee will not be processed.

Registration fee
If the school has confirmed acceptance, the accepted student shall send SEK 500 as a registration fee by May 22 to keep his place. The fee shall be paid to bankgiro 5859-0092. Write name and national identification number! The registration fee will be deducted from the semester fee.

Semester fee
Currently the semester fee is SEK 11.000. To be paid at the beginning of the term or when the study aids have been received. The school supplies training materials to some extent.

Study grants
The school receives governmental funding and is under the supervision of the National Agency for Education. The education entitles to study grants for a maximum of 80 weeks. Extra loans can be granted for the semester fee.
